I know that you probably understood that I was grateful when you helped me, but I don’t feel like I said it well enough. I really wanted to thank you again for everything you did. I honestly don’t think any other teacher would have handled it the same way. That is why I am glad I am in your class.
As long as I am writing about how much I appreciate you being my teacher, I have more to say. Out of all my teachers this year you are my favorite and out of all my classes yours is my favorite. Spanish is not my favorite subject. The way you teach makes me want to learn. I know we have only done review of Spanish 1 so far, but I’ve learned more than I did all last year. After the first week or so I started telling my family that I was going to actually learn Spanish this year. They were happy because they want me to be able to talk to my family in Costa Rica. Last year did not help me learn enough to speak. And when I was in Costa Rica I was embarrassed of saying anything because I was afraid of saying it wrong or pronouncing it wrong. The next time I go, I am going to try to speak it and I know that even if I mess up a little, I will be pronouncing everything right because you teach us so well.
I’m proud to say that I know Spanish pretty well by my 2nd year and that it was all thanks to the best teacher. It’s not just the way you teach either. It is the way that you are so energetic and send positive energy to the students you teach. I have never wanted to get to 5th period class so badly, so that I could learn. By fourth period I am excited because your class is next. Thank you for being a great teacher. Although Spanish will not be my career choice, be sure that when I become a film director, you will be my inspiration.
